I'm enjoying it a lot, but I think the revive mechanic is way too unforgiving. Taking 6 health each player if someone dies is a bit insane. Or at the very least, allow shields to carry over from fight to fight. Outside of that, I'm loving this. Feels like Thronebreaker mixed with Darkest Dungeon. The decision to make it a story driven game over a roguelite game was a top tier choice.
I feel bad writing such a negative review, because there's a great game here, potentially, but this was not ready for release in this state. The art is beautiful and the sound is sometimes great -- otherwise It's a technical and mechanical mess, and some of the changes have made it worse since the demo. Amazing atmosphere, I got pulled into the world just seconds after starting playing Combat is very fun to play, the skill tree seems daunting at first but it eases you into it enough.
