I kinda like this game and at this stage am hooked into trying to complete this run, but I just cannot recommend it. It starts off really strong, but degrades as the acts move on, the bugs just build up, the load times get longer and the inventory management awful. I'm tired of mission events not triggering when they should blocking or failing progress, I'm tired of getting dragged away from the star map 3 times...
Abelard, make these fools buy the game. I have unfortunately spent an ungodly amount of time playing this game. I bought this game on a Monday, and have spent 80 hours playing it within the first week and as of writing, I'm not even done. It has become a problem. It should be noted that this game is what BG3 wishes it could be. No, it will not be for anyone, but I firmly believe this is the better game. The story...
100 hrs in just to run into a game breaking mechanic/bug that leaves me hanging, unable to finish. This is the last OwlCat game I'll ever buy.
