The mix of 2D tank platforming and top-down dungeons on foot is a really cool combination of gameplay, it breaks up the game to keep it from getting too repetitive. Music and aesthetics are great, and the story is decent enough that it keeps me interested. Jason really did all this to find a frog he barely even knows. #respect I'm not used to Metroidvanias so traversal is a little slow to me. Keeping the max gun...
Just like old times, one of the games I had to rent from blockbuster a few times. I had forgotten a lot of the enemies, but it all came back to ne.
Had the demo of this game on my 3Ds WAAAY back, finally got the chance to play the full game and i'm not dissapointed, extremely fun mechanics, and a very intresting story with a plot twist i was honestly not exepecting. 10/10 the track "Fire the blaster rifle" still gets me hyped up
