What players say
Very good Roguelike Deckbuilder. If you like Slay the Spire or Monster Train, you'll like this. The thing that sets Roguebook apart is the map exploration. That is done very well and makes every run feel very different, more than the 3 paths that are usually offered. Give it a try!
Overall a solid cardgame based around the risk/reward of exploring the map. It's a bit weird, that the game doesn't give you the option to remove cards, which does mean that runs tend to end with relatively bloated decks, which decreases strategical depth to some extend. Right now it's on sale for 1,74€ which I would say the game is DEFINITELY worth if you like Roguelike card games of any sort.
Roguebook is a deck-building roguelike. I am actually neutral about it, but it leans more toward a thumbs down. It's a decently made game that looks and sounds good. Nothing is broken, and the mechanics aren't far behind the best in the genre. The issue is that the market is saturated with games so good that their sheer replayability is their main selling point.
