Rituals in the dark is by its own admission far more of a mood piece than it is a plot or character drama, and in that I fully agree. From start to finish this whole visual novel is coated in a beautiful miasma of melancholy. Of the sadness of not just people but places and things and the loss of potential and opportunity as they rot. It's a ghost story, but not in a scary sense at all. Instead in the way where...
