I've played this game for something like hundreds of hours outside of steam, so the steam playtime I have for this game is very inaccurate. This game is almost perfect. Almost the only flaw this game has is its oppressive and abusive level of difficulty. Unless you make use of at least some of the tips that I'll provide in a later part of this review, you have only until the 4th or 5th floor before this game starts...

check the playtime at the time of reviewing, and now bear in mind that this is only base game content plus like, two floors of the plus disk expansion. labyrinth of touhou is a ridiculously well polished and designed dungeon crawler with engaging and intricate systems and mechanics, an incredibly varied cast of characters where no two characters feel the same, and a rewarding gameplay loop. its game design is...
TLDR: + bossfights in this game are great and very plentifull + fun party building - exploration has almost no noteworthy puzzles - random encounters are boring - you will spend roughly half of your playtime on the 2 previous negative points.
