I like the idea of this game more than the game itself. At first blush the premise seems like some prime furry bait. Unfortunately, this game is more of a furry bait-and-switch. The two biggest problems with Bear and Breakfast are repetition and repetition. Both the jokes and the gameplay just keep going over the same thing again and again. You rebuild your cabins to have higher scores in order to unlock furniture...
It was a fun game but it felt unfinished. Running the B&Bs was really fun, the Pawn Voyage storyline was fleshed out and interesting. *possible spoilers The storyline with the animal gods felt unfinished. There is a whole spiel about all the different gods and we don't even get to interact with all of them. Roughly half the gods mentioned in the cut scene have zero presence in the game so this storyline was a bit...
A nice cozy game for a fair price (even better when it goes on sale). The art style is super cute and the soundtrack is enjoyable. The gameplay loop is pretty addicting, and it's easy to loose track of time (in a good way) while decorating and managing each area. Worth giving a try if you're into managements sims. That being said, the game does feel a bit half-baked. It's a bit buggy in places (nothing game-breaking...
