The value story
The lowest price on record is $2.99, set in May 2023. It has been discounted 54 times in the 6 years tracked here, typically at 85 percent off, with about 5 weeks between sales.
It is pricier than 92 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 94 percent. The games it most resembles do better on the same math. Remothered: Tormented Fathers ($19.99, scores 23) and Maid of Sker ($24.99, scores 36) both outscore it.
This site sampled 550 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 2 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written October 2020 to September 2026. In its first 30 days on sale, 1 of 113 sampled reviews came from a refunder. Inside the two-hour refund window, 36 percent of the 110 reviews written there were positive, against 61 percent overall, and those are 17 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
Remothered: Broken Porcelain functions as both a prequel and a sequel to Remothered: Tormented Fathers which was excellent and I really loved the 1st game but you need to really like puzzles and above all stealth! otherwise you won't enjoy both of them. What I loved the most about this franchise is the story which is amazing, Remothered: Tormented Fathers was the best horror game that I've played until today...
I don't know whether to recommend this game or report it. The AI got stuck. I got stuck. The enemies got stuck. At one point I got stuck outside the map. Then I discovered a bugged talent that gave me infinite moth keys by repeatedly blocking a bathroom door, so I became a millionaire while two of my pursuers forgot how to function. The controls occasionally take coffee breaks, the story feels like it was assembled...
A great horror experience trapped inside an unfinished game. The atmosphere delivers the scares, while the gameplay delivers the stress. In more ways than one, Broken Porcelain lives up to its name.
