In short: If you've ever searched online for a necromancer type game with some form of minion summoning mechanic, Overlord gets mentioned everywhere. There's good in this game, (ironically enough) there's no doubting that. But personally, I would recommend skipping Overlord 1 and going straight to Overlord 2. Having played several hours of Overlord 2 on the PS3, I can safely say that everything in this game is far, FAR more refined in it's sequel. Best of all, Overlord 2 actually has a map.
