Without a VPN, the game doesn't launch from Russia, showing "Error code E514: Failed to access directory." But even with a VPN, the main issue is that the multiplayer is completely dead. First impressions are mixed. Visually, the game looks great-the locations are 10/10, and the graphics/explosions are top-notch. However, it completely lacks that legendary Worms atmosphere and, most importantly, the destructible...
game release: hell yeah first update dropped: goodbye! genuinely took a good game and shat all over it on the first update. have not ever went back since, and the only fond memory now is how ridiculously bad the game became after the first patch. literally. oh well! tons of worms games still.. just unfortunate that this is the only non-turn-based realtime one that exists..
