7/10 Had a really good time with this one. Pumpkin Jack is just fun. The platforming feels good, the combat is simple but satisfying, and the whole Halloween vibe gives it a lot of personality. My only real complaint is that it's pretty short. I was enjoying it a lot and honestly wished there was just a little more of it. Still, I'd rather a game leave me wanting more than drag on too long. Really solid game overall.

If you're nostalgic for that early 2000s/PS2 aesthetic, Pumpkin Jack is the one. While not a terribly complex game, the quirky-creepy soundtrack, spooky autumnal scenes, and snarky characters more than make up for it as you hack-n-slash your way through pumpkin patches, eerie graveyards, and the murky swamp. Puzzles and various "ride" sequences peppered through each level break up the standard 3D platforming which...
$30/30€ for this game is an absolute joke, and not a funny one. Even at the 88% discount it regularly goes into, I'd much rather recommend something like the N. Sane Trilogy. The platforming is very simple, if floaty, and the combat is incredibly dull and repetitive. Every encounter can be solved by spamming dodge and attack. And it's not like you have many other options. This game crams more progression-locking...
