What drives the score
How to read this
Every input gets a grade, S to D, read from the buyer's side. The score is multiplicative, so an input only counts as raising when it sits near the top of its own scale. Anything with real room left is holding the score back, because that room is the gap to 100. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. The exact weights stay secret.
The value story
On value it sits in the top 34 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, Super Animal Royale (free, scores 82) beats it on value, while it beats Battle Teams 2 (free, scores 1).
Players rate it 73 percent positive over its lifetime, but the last 30 days run 61 percent. Something recent has soured the room. Inside the two-hour refund window, 57 percent of the 4,860 reviews written there were positive, against 73 percent overall, and those are 3 percent of everything written about it. It carries the aggressive kind of in-app purchases, and the score already docks it for that.
HowLongToBeat players log 21.7 hours as a typical playtime, and completionists log 119, 5.5 times as much.
It came out 5 years ago and 67.0K were still playing it at the last check.
It is still busy. 67.0K players were in it at once at the last check, across 81 days of tracking. Free to start. Steam lists the aggressive monetization types on it: cosmetic and currency.
The drop-off

What players say
This game is slept on SOO hard. I need more friends that play this. This game gives mist fall hunter but with the playstyle of apex legends. BR game type with plenty of characters and customization of those characters, some may find the amount of customization too much and even overwhelming but you can totally ignore that and focus on the skins and gameplay. There's minigames before the game starts as well as a...
Game is fun, but basically unplayable most of the time for NA players. Constant disconnecting from servers, huge ping spikes and fps drops. For a game very dependent on frame precise timing they put zero effort into making sure they have stable servers that support the gameplay. I would give a positive review if I wasn't getting disconnected literally every 60 seconds. Trash servers equals a trash game when it comes...

NARAKA: BLADEPOINT scores 33/100 on the BANG Score (a skip). The BANG Score rates what a game is worth for the money. Via Steam BANGERS. https://steambangers.com/game/1203220/naraka-bladepointThe BANG Score is one number for value, 0 to 100: price against how it reviews and how long it was built to be. It answers the money question and stops there; whether the game is for you is still your call.
Reviews set the ceiling and price moves you inside it, so a cheap game that reviews badly cannot climb. Ratings from few reviewers are shrunk toward the middle, so 100 percent from nine people does not outrank 96 percent from ninety thousand. Length comes from HowLongToBeat where it can be matched, measured against a per-genre floor so a five-hour narrative game is judged against other narrative games rather than against a sixty-hour RPG. Where no verified length exists the score says so and carries a dock, because the biggest input is then a guess. The full method, including where it is weak → Steam reviews as of Sep 10.
