What starts off as a Sokoban like game quickly develops with various mechanics into a complex and challenging turn-based puzzle game. Each screen can contain multiple puzzles which take various retries and paths based on what you've done before. I appreciate the overall execution: There is screen reset by leaving or selecting the menu option. There are last move takeback mechanisms, so you don't have to waste time...
I 100% this game, and I think most of the puzzles were really good. Over its lifetime I think there was only 1 puzzle which I think had a really poor solution that wasn't properly hinted, and it was one of the final puzzles in the game. By the time I got to the end I was pretty exhausted, and looked up some hints for a few of the final pyramids, but everything else was really fantastic! Probably a 4.5/5! Great stuff!
Gorgeous game, beautiful score that really fits the vibe, and great secrets/puzzle progression. I've read the reviews of end-game puzzle difficulty. I haven't made it that far yet, but for my 15 hours of playtime to reach the credits, I thought the difficulty was perfect and did not look up any solutions. I had no trouble walking away from a puzzle I could not complete, and l think figuring out which puzzles you are...
