What players say
A gorgeous game, but definitely wait for a deep sale. Hubris is a bit of a mixed bag. It completely nails the visuals and movement, but the combat and VR mechanics are pretty clunky. I had a good time with it overall, but honestly, don't pay full price for this. Grab it on a discount like I did. Starting with the good stuff: the game looks absolutely stunning. Yet another "get on a discount" game ($10-$15), not that it's bad, but it's a 5 hour experience with little replay value. Looks good, plays mostly well, besides some annoyances with hands gripping, or not gripping where you want, and menu gripes. Very linear, the story was lacking and mostly just a way to move you forward.
Bland shooting, boring story, mediocre visuals and sound, repetitive gameplay. The only good thing that can be said about this game - it's short and ends quickly.
