The value story
Across all 29 discounts in the 5 years tracked, the median cut is 55 percent, about 8 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended 11 days ago.
It is pricier than 82 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 85 percent. On the same math Among Us ($2.99, scores 80) and Unrailed 2: Back on Track ($13.99, scores 64) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.

What players say
It could have been good, but it's very mediocre. The core gameplay is repetitive and fiddly (picking up and moving items like ammo, fire extinguisher, etc.). The multiplayer roles are more about manual labor than interesting mechanics. Void crew is a better multiplayer space ship game.

Unfortunately, a number of unforced game design errors make an otherwise good improvement on FTL a boring mess. The gameplay macro loop is underdeveloped but otherwise identical to FTL. The micro loop fetching ammo is repetitive and made painful by a lazy item handling method and an inexplicable input delay. The AI workers are also oddly ineffective. Nice that Jagex have tried something different, but they should...
Abandoned game. It would have been so good.. but no update since 2023. This could have been a great game if the devs kept working the frustrating bugs and connection issues.
