The game is a fantastic horror game, but the server connectivity is terrible and makes the playing experience poor.
The gold standard for co-op horror and probably the only game in this category which feels like it has an actual budget and thought put into it. Tons of replay value with a large variety of maps, cosmetics to unlock, tasks and challenges to complete and lore for anyone who's interested in the wider Outlast universe - There's 41 different endings and cutscenes to unlock with the 'Rebirth' system, Trials' equivalent...
Was a big fan of this game and put a decent amount of hours into it with friends over the past couple years. However, the dishonesty of Red Barrels regarding inclusion of AI is a big turn off and puts any future updates in doubt. Shame too because they did have plenty of real human artists, voice actors, and creatives working on this but, undoubtedly, some higher up executive wanted to save money by introducing...
