I wish I could give it a mixed review. It's a fairly enjoyable game that's only held back by the repetition that is unable to be sped up/skipped. I also got stuck in an endless loop of negative followers and gold which was just unenjoyable after awhile. The whole reason I ended up in that situation is because I bought a cursed object that was supposed to allow me to see failure cards and only ended up showing me 1...
First off: This game does NOT deserve the massive price increase it got ($3.99 USD -> $19.99 USD). Even when it was only a few dollars I would have a hard time recommending it. "Who Needs a Hero?" is a goofy, linear (in a literal sense) RPG. Yes/No options give you money/items/stats, combat is done via dice rolls. You gain followers and unlock a fake chat.
