Crap that doesnt know what genre it wants to be. Extremely repetitive OST, an mc with zero character to him. Some cool CGs but thats about it. I refuse to acknowledge Ryukishi as the author of this.
"Iwaihime" is a kinetic novel, written by Ryukishi07 but seemingly not made by his usual team. However, similarities to Higurashi will be made so let's get that out of the way now; the beginning chapters of this kinetic novel are very reminiscent to the question arcs, at the very least, and the ending arcs would have answered them.
