The value story
September 2026 is where it bottomed out, at $7.49. Its cuts run 60 percent off as a rule. There have been 23 in the 5 years tracked, about 10 weeks apart.
Value puts it in the top 23 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 97 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 88 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Fraymakers ($19.99, scores 44) beats it on value, while it beats Mortal Kombat 1 ($49.99, scores 29).
Of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 37 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written April 2023 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,814 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 580 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 71 percent of the 864 reviews written there were positive, against 84 percent overall, and those are 10 percent of everything written about it.
The main story runs 1.1 hours. Doing everything runs 178, 162 times as long.
At 1.1 hours it is a handheld-sized game, and Valve rates it Deck Verified.

What players say
best FG i've ever played. makes me wish i'd gotten into KoF a lot sooner, but much better late than never.
First and foremost, KOF 15 is a fighting game. There's no character creation career mode, belt scrolling beat em up mode, rpg mode, or survival mode. You choose your team then fight on thru the dream. To younger fighting game fans I realize why this will come off as bog standard. I admit even I would have liked a few more options. But as an old head I remember enjoying the genre when it didn't throw in side gimmicks...
Basura de juego puro perdedor nomas juega con Zoneo y fukins gorilas que hasta mi abuelito ciego y sin brazos los puede jugar. No jueguen Online porque esta lleno de puro kbrito campero
