The value story

It has been discounted 45 times in the 5 years tracked here. The median cut across all of them is 50 percent, about 6 weeks apart. Today's $9.99 at 50 percent off still sits 25 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.

Against its own genre it lands in the top 4 percent on value. It is pricier than 89 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 96 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Cookie Clicker ($4.99, scores 98) beats it on value, while it beats Lyca ($2.49, scores 62).

Inside the two-hour refund window, 86 percent of the 242 reviews written there were positive, against 93 percent overall, and those are 29 percent of everything written about it.

What players say

I honestly expected a bit more out of this game, especially for the price. The dynamic soundtrack is amazing and the writing is decent, but you will see all of the gameplay in the first 15 minutes and finish your first ending in about 40. Once you some cash from good stock trades, you basically just wait for the correct items to show up in order to end the story missions. All in all, a disappointment for the price...
