Okay, this was my first playthrough, I have never played the original one before. I really liked this game, it was a huge step forward from GTA III. First thing, the missions made more sense than in the third, the story was much better, and the missions actually felt connected. The side quests were also fun, I also liked how Rockstar made Tommy, I liked the humor in the game it was just great. I enjoyed that you can...
Really enjoyed this one. The story is fun, the characters are great and the whole atmosphere of Vice City is just really nice. Some missions definitely made me question my life choices, but overall I had a lot of fun playing it. Also, the radio is way too good, shame Michael's song isn't in the game anymore.
The gameplay is classic, but the unreal engine port is an absolute optimization nightmare. It doesn't matter if you have a high-end PC or run the game on low graphics - the micro-stutters and sudden hitching (especially noticeable when driving) are built directly into the game's core. Tested on 3 different PC's... If you are sensitive to frame pacing, DO NOT BUY THIS.
