What players say
I just started playing the game. I am a sucker for the games which cause a deep mental disturbance and emotion. (This game was advertised as one.) The first chapter ("Home") is a bit slow. What I do not like is that the inner house environment of the 1940s feels like a modern one. It feels like the furniture, books, gramophone and so on are made from the modern materials. I do not feel the vibe of the old times...

great art style. To many dialogues Please make intro skippable. I saw it 4 times already
This is a though one. Torn Away wants to be an anti-war game that follows a little girl during world war 2 that probably was inspired by the game "Valiant Hearts" that showed similar themes and gameplay. The story is about a woman and her child that get abducted to Germany to work in a labor camp. Even in Germany only people from the USSR will support them (with one notable exception) on their quest to go back home...
