The value story

It has never been cheaper than $9.99. That was April 2023. Its cuts run 50 percent off as a rule. There have been 38 in the 4 years tracked, about 5 weeks apart.

On value it sits in the top 8 percent of its genre. It is pricier than 86 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 85 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Enshrouded ($39.99, scores 67) beats it on value, while it beats Salt ($14.99, scores 33).

Of the 625 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 27 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written September 2022 to September 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 3,162 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 462 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 62 percent of the 332 reviews written there were positive, against 85 percent overall, and those are 15 percent of everything written about it.

It carries Valve's Deck Verified rating, which is the one that means it just works.

What players say

Great fun game, love the exploration and calm cosy nature of the game! Would like to see a bit more detail in textures etc. but I do understand this is a stylised and simpler game as far as visual goes. but I think if there was a bit of a texture/shader appearance overhaul it would really elevate it. Excited to see what else comes out in future updates - maybe chopping trees and digging could be fun features to...

Not nearly as fun as it looks. Clunky and confusing, this one gets old fast. AVOID
