Although obviously an older game, it's still the best "modern" subsim there is. Yes, better than Modern Naval Warfare (2026 early access). If you're looking for an overall modern *strategy* game, Sea Power is king. The only problem is that installing (and configuring it to run great) can be a pain, but if you're a "navy nut" like me it's worth doing it. Old school simulation. Magnificent Mission editor. A testament to the people who made it that it still stands today.
Spent over an hour watching the tutorials included in the game files just for me to see it doesn't work on newer operating systems when I finally went to play it. RIP my time.
