ZeroSpace is a hybrid sci-fi RTS / RPG game that allows you to play as the commander of The Protectorate, a galactic force dedicated to securing humanity’s place in the galaxy. The Orion sector is locked in a vicious power struggle between many alien factions, ready to fight to the death.
Each input wears a grade, S to D, read from the buyer's side. The color is the direction: green raises the score, red lowers it, grey sits neutral. ▼ marks a dock, ? a missing input. The exact weights stay secret. These are the inputs and the direction each pushes.
If you're a fan of RTS games, especially Starcraft 2, then you should definitely check out Zerospace. It's not a AAA game but that's okay, it gets the important stuff right and I'm sure the wrinkles will be ironed out throughout Early Access. I've had a great time playing so far and really enjoyed the unit designs and 1v1 gameplay.
An RTS with Farscape/Stargate/Mass Effect vibes is something I should love, but after playing the demo for some hours and now this EA launch version, I am very underwhelmed and the amount of red flags being higher than in the recent World Cup got me to refund. First off, the price tag sets some expectations which are absolutely not met with this many bugs and audiovisual glitches. And while the optimisation was...
Unpolished? Yes, but its mostly UI and some QoL. The gameplay itself is excellent. I'd rather an EA game have good mechanics before fancy graphics.

Steam's global achievement data says about under 1 percent of players ever finish it. On a 5.8-hour game, that is a lot of paid-for hours most people never see.
