Go into this being aware: 1. It's an appealing visual novel, but barely interactive 2. The setting and early chapters are very intriguing, and the last chapter is decent. But the chapters in the middle are mediocre and a chore to push through. I came very close to giving it up in those middle chapters 3. If you do push all the way to the end, make sure you watch past the credits as there is a lot of explanation...
I love this game! It has a palpable weighty atmosphere lead by the writing and subtle animations, and bolstered by an exceptional soundtrack. I'm so glad I stumbled on this! I had to buy the soundtrack too and just have it playing while I work. The characters are pretty well fleshed out, the mystery(s) are compelling, and the philosophizing is both interesting in its own right and makes you wonder what kinds of...
One of the best constructed narrative indie games I've played in recent years and one of the best cyberpunk games, period. The writing is top-notch, characters and story are interesting. It surprises with how deep it goes! Only the amount of time spent in elevators is pretty annoying lol, but small price to pay. Brillant game! Can't wait to see the dev's next game - and how this game will end.
