The value story
23 discounts in the 3 years on record, a median of 80 percent off across all of them, roughly 6 weeks apart. Today's $1.99 at 80 percent off still sits 34 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
Value puts it in the top 1 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 69 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 95 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio ($0.99, scores 79) beats it on value, while it beats Kaze and the Wild Masks ($9.99, scores 74).

When I was a kid I played Zool for hours on my Dad's old Amiga / Atari. The "Redimensioned" release has brought those happy memories flooding back.
I played the original game during my childhood and it was extremely difficult back then. This is considerably easier with checkpoints and the possibility of having a larger view of the screen. Also there is no Chupa Chups branding/sponsorship anymore. Recommended for those who played the original or for those who want to experience a modernized version of a 90s 2D platformer.
