How to read this

Minimum specs

The value story
It has been discounted 31 times in the 4 years tracked here. The median cut across all of them is 65 percent, about 7 weeks apart. Today's $5.99 at 60 percent off still sits 100 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 18 percent on value. It is pricier than 81 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 68 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Espresso Tycoon ($2.39, scores 56) beats it on value, while it beats Brewmaster: Beer Brewing Simulator ($2.69, scores 46).
More about Barista Simulator
13 of the 447 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written January 2023 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,597 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 231 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. 1 of the 13 refunded reviewers was past Valve's two-hour window when they wrote the review. Inside the two-hour refund window, 43 percent of the 144 reviews written there were positive, against 77 percent overall, and those are 23 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
No cloud saving, I've lost my progress twice already even tho I never even unnistalled the game.. I enjoyed playing this alot, it was fun for a while, but the lack of updates and losing my progress every single time pisses me off to no end. I can't recommend it as is.

I love sim games but this just didn't do it for me. I'm sure it is better mid to late game but it felt like it was going to be such a chore just getting past the beginning stages that I would rather play something else. The controls really felt janky and you get to feeling really rushed just to make a single cup of espresso since it takes a fair amount of time and steps to do so while your customers are getting more...
I Really like it, So fun, But I can't deal with rude customers. The coffee-making process is very realistic. and I need Measuring cups for ingredients.
