The value story
February 2026 is where it bottomed out, at $4.41. It has been discounted 47 times in the 5 years tracked here, typically at 25 percent off, with about 6 weeks between sales. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 5 weeks ago.
Value puts it in the top 44 percent of the games it competes with. It is better reviewed than 71 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, Ratropolis ($17.99, scores 68) beats it on value, while it beats Overdungeon ($14.99, scores 51).
This site sampled 442 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 1 was written by a buyer who refunded it, sampled from reviews written September 2021 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 69 percent of the 106 reviews written there were positive, against 88 percent overall, and those are 9 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
Far more fun that I expected. Lots of unique mechanics and strategy to this game. Different enough to be well worth it.
I'd suggest waiting for a sale but this game is a decent passtime and the music/atmosphere has a bit of an eerie aura to it that I like. It's not a main goto game for me, but a nice option when I feel like playing something a bit simpler, plus it's casual friendly in that you can save an exit in the middle of a wave if you need to.
Not a bad game. Pretty fun, addictive you can make great combos and variety of builds is quite good. And even though I would recommend this game I feel like enemies arent that interesting, especially the bosses which made me quit after 20h because I felt like I have seen everything.
