I really enjoyed the game mechanics of Starcom and the combat system from being able to target certain systems, to allowing things to auto target, to using some forms of kiting or strategy when engaging with multiple enemies. From an RPG perspective, this is one of those games where you should not skip the dialogue and should read things. You need to actively the game logs to be able to find things, which at times...
A fun space game. Immersive, well written. The combat system isn't infinitely complex, but it has enough depth to entertain any upgrade-hungry player over the roughly 20-30h campaign. Can recommend.
