What players say
Practically perfect in some ways. Movement is complex in a way that becomes intuitively surprisingly quickly. Something feels immediately right controlling this character, and that's really all it takes for me to love this game. The world is interesting to inhabit, and it comes together in ways I didn't expect, in places relevant to the main plot and not. Late game areas especially can be punishing in inconsistent...
I bought this game and then didn't play it for a few years, huh. A really fun metroidvania that can be completed in a day or two if you wish to. Not that it feels short by any means I'd say it's the pretty perfect length for what it is. Fun characters, some good mysteries to explore. An upgrade system which allows for great customisation in playstyle.
A really beautiful metroidvania with a difficult-to-master but incredibly expressive movement system. One of the most underrated games of 2023.
