What players say
Spirit of the North 2 is a good game I have some slightly mixed feelings on. As a sequel its very good, building right off of the adventure and and mythos of the first game, the open world was not a bad idea to emphasize those themes. Overall, I enjoyed the running around, exploring, doing puzzles, and seeing where I could go. What I didn't enjoy as much were two things; the performance, and the bossfights...
Started playing the game again when the "Very Low" lighting settings were introduced; it no longer kills my PC to render particles and lighting. Decent photos can still be taken on the lowest of settings, too.
Love this game! It's so beautiful. Some of it I can't figure out and have to look online but that's more user error than anything. I haven't tired of the music either. Worth every penny 🩷
