What drives the score
How to read this
Every input gets a grade, S to D, read from the buyer's side. The score is multiplicative, so an input only counts as raising when it sits near the top of its own scale. Anything with real room left is holding the score back, because that room is the gap to 100. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. The exact weights stay secret.
The value story
The lowest price on record is $19.99, set in November 2025. 24 discounts in the 4 years on record. They run about 40 percent off, roughly 7 weeks apart. Today it is at full price. The last sale was about 13 weeks ago, and on this game's rhythm the next one tends to arrive within 7 weeks. No sale on record has reached $8.07, the price it would take to be a BANGER.
Value puts it in the top 11 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 99 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 98 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered ($59.99, scores 67) beats it on value, while it beats Marvel's Spider-Man 2 ($59.99, scores 43).
Steam's global achievement data says about 11 percent of players ever finish it. On a 7.8-hour game, that is a lot of paid-for hours most people never see. This site sampled 800 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 5 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written October 2025 to September 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 78 percent of the 1,221 reviews written there were positive, against 93 percent overall, and those are 3 percent of everything written about it.
The main story runs 7.8 hours. Doing everything runs 19, 2.4 times as long.
Valve rates it Steam Deck Verified, and at 7.8 hours it is short enough to finish on one.

What players say
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a really fun game with great combat, smooth web-swinging, and some beautiful graphics. Playing as Miles feels different enough from Peter, especially with his venom abilities and camouflage, which makes the gameplay really satisfying. The story is a little shorter than the first Spider-Man game, but I still enjoyed it a lot and thought the characters were well done. The soundtrack and...
I came into this game wanting to beat it just because I had played Spider-Man for the PS4, and want to play Spider-Man 2, but don't want to miss any of the story. I ended up 100% the game, and the story was worth the time in the end.
Miles is annoying, the story is lackluster, and the campaign is pathetically short. Don't pay full price.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales scores 53/100 on the BANG Score (fair value). The BANG Score rates what a game is worth for the money. Via Steam BANGERS. https://steambangers.com/game/1817190/marvel-s-spider-man-miles-moralesThe BANG Score is one number for value, 0 to 100: price against how it reviews and how long it was built to be. It answers the money question and stops there; whether the game is for you is still your call.
Reviews set the ceiling and price moves you inside it, so a cheap game that reviews badly cannot climb. Ratings from few reviewers are shrunk toward the middle, so 100 percent from nine people does not outrank 96 percent from ninety thousand. Length comes from HowLongToBeat where it can be matched, measured against a per-genre floor so a five-hour narrative game is judged against other narrative games rather than against a sixty-hour RPG. Where no verified length exists the score says so and carries a dock, because the biggest input is then a guess. The full method, including where it is weak → Steam reviews as of Sep 5, price as of Sep 23.
