What drives the score
How to read this
Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work

Minimum specs

The value story
It has been discounted 19 times in the 3 years tracked here. The median cut across all of them is 40 percent, about 7 weeks apart. Today's $11.99 at 40 percent off still sits 20 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 9 percent on value. It is pricier than 69 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 93 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Grimhook (free, scores 90) beats it on value, while it beats Their Land ($2.99, scores 0).

What players say
This is a solid and fun game. It really is a wonder why it has so few reviews and players. This is an FPS adventure with voxel graphics, more focused on combat and boss fights than exploration and story. Juggling guns mid-fight and the mechanics of healing by using and hitting spells (instead of getting healing from defeated enemies or having a magical flask) is awesome. The integration of being a Frog and eating...

This game really surprised me, and kept surprising me. The soundtrack is incredible and it kept opening up new depths as i went in. I expected this game to be half the size it is, And I would have been happy with that. Instead they made a much bigger game with no loss in quality, arguably the final areas are some of the best. It has some issues with performance and sone attacks feel frustrating, but they're barely...
SO much personality and style and fun gameplay. My only critique is that it's not much of a metriodvania but it easily makes up for that in its design and care for depth. Feels like it started with the idea of a metriodvania but leaned more into an FPS over time, and it leaned into its strengths and focused on exactly what makes it the best version of itself. This is an indie treasure that I hope more people find...
