What players say
it doesnt give me a headache like kings field does, interesting little rpg dungeon crawler with a surprising amount of depth, but run length feels like a drag due to a lack of excitement when just walking around. everything is a box room with the same chests and weapons that are either ranged with no real difference, or melee with no real difference fun for a few go arounds

This game is great fun, and I really love the art work. Immortal mode is my favorite, not sure if that type of game mode is new for roguelites, but it really makes things less soul crushing.
It's got enough of a gameplay loop to keep you entertained for the price. Unfortunately, runs do get rather tedious and they don't differ all that much even across the varying game modes. The weapons are fairly limited and enemies/bosses don't really change at all either, but it's still a good time, especially for a small indie project. I look forward to playing Devil Spire Falls once it's out of early access.
