The value story
December 2022 is where it bottomed out, at $5.99. 42 discounts in the 4 years on record. They run about 20 percent off, roughly 5 weeks apart. Today's $9.59 at 20 percent off still sits 60 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 7 percent on value. It is pricier than 70 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 93 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Victoria II ($19.99, scores 76) beats it on value, while it beats Evil Bank Manager ($11.99, scores 44).
This site sampled 659 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 31 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written April 2022 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 7 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 651 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 249 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 51 percent of the 201 reviews written there were positive, against 88 percent overall, and those are 7 percent of everything written about it.
HowLongToBeat players log 5.1 hours as a typical playtime, and completionists log 80, 16 times as much.

What players say
i love this game its addicting but it doesnt have any depth to it and it should be a bit harder like hoi4 but bite-sized yk what i mean? also, i dont know why the flags the circles it kinda defeats the point why flags are rectangles or squares, and when i liberate a nation, it ruins the borders, it simplifies it but i dont rlly mind.
Dummynations is a combat simulation involving all countries, and I've already put quite a few hours into it; you can get the game on the Google Play Store. It's challenging and features cross-platform multiplayer, but I should also mention that there are other games like this-and since this is the "Walmart version," I'll rank them: War of Dots is the "Temu version," Dummynations is the "Walmart version," and Hearts...
dummynation is now nearly impossible to beat (in single player). it is a waste of time and overall now worth your money. the devs do not listen to the community and take forever to do anything with the game. you can get it for free on the google play store, which is what i reccomend.
