The value story
The lowest price on record is $2.09, set in November 2022. Its cuts run 30 percent off as a rule. There have been 28 in the 4 years tracked, about 8 weeks apart. Today's $3.49 at 30 percent off still sits 67 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
Value puts it in the top 39 percent of the games it competes with. It is cheaper than 85 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, Karate Survivor ($1.49, scores 62) beats it on value, while it beats Slime 3K: Rise Against Despot ($4.99, scores 49).
3 of the 487 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written May 2022 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 77 percent of the 172 reviews written there were positive, against 84 percent overall, and those are 11 percent of everything written about it.
HowLongToBeat players log 15.7 hours as a typical playtime, and completionists log 37, 2.4 times as much.
Valve rates it Steam Deck Verified, so it runs on the handheld without fiddling.

It just changes the way you strategize your build and it adds a layer of fun for me.
The game plays fine mechanically, but the pacing is just not good. Other games like the original Vampire Survivors and Halls of Torment do a much better job of having clear phases in the enemy spawns, times to farm, times to move toward targets on the map, and generally keeping a suitable level of pressure as you level up.
