Each input wears a grade, S to D, read from the buyer's side. The color is the direction: green raises the score, red lowers it, grey sits neutral. ▼ marks a dock, ? a missing input, • a fact this genre's score does not use. The exact weights stay secret. These are the inputs and the direction each pushes.

One of my favorite childhood games, with new content and modernized UI and graphics, what's not to love? Recommend if you're a fan of RTS!
I loved the original Age of Mythology. I have owned this game for a while but never got around to really playing it until recently. I am now hooked on this game and can't wait to experience the new civs and gods! Looking forward to hopefully even more expansions or releases in the future. If you enjoy RTS or original AoM you won't be let down by this game or the devs behind it.
The villager priority system is awesome! Age of Mythology Retold feels how a modern RTS should play. 10/10

The lowest price on record is $14.99, set in August 2025. It has been discounted 18 times in the 2 years tracked here, typically at 50 percent off, with about 5 weeks between sales. Today it is at full price. The last sale was about 7 weeks ago, and on this game's rhythm the next one tends to arrive within 5 weeks.
On value it sits in the top 2 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition ($34.99, scores 90) beats it on value, while it beats Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition ($39.99, scores 71).
Steam's global achievement data says about 1 percent of players ever finish it. On a 24.2-hour game, that is a lot of paid-for hours most people never see. It sells extras on top of the sticker price (cosmetic, unlock); the score docks it lightly for that.
