Just 100%'d the game with all achievements which took 5 full playthroughs with the final hardcore run taking 3 attempts. I loved the style from the beginning and this game has some killer soundtracks in it, especially for some of the bosses. Lots of pick up, lots to fight, and loads of secrets to find. A common criticism is that the combat is a little basic, and in some parts it is, but balancing your loadout will...
Pretty decent metroidvania, pretty average. Positive sides: - good visuals - some decent bossfight music tracks - good variety of locations and enemies Negative ones: - story and atmosphere are meh - didn't like the map Everything else felt pretty average to me. I'd recommend this game only to metroidvania fans.
An uninspired, uninteresting Metroidvania. There are no weapons to unlock, and your rewards for exploring are mostly tiny health increases and gimmicky, useless special items that drain your energy really quickly in exchange for less damage than your basic attack. The lore is somewhat interesting, but it can't save the incredibly bland gameplay.
