I don't think anyone in 2026 is getting this game based on reviews. You either know what you're getting into or have no idea what you're doing generally in life. Both are good reasons to get this game.

Nostalgia. Still as much fun now as it was when I first played it when it was first released. The updated graphics does make it look smoother and cooler when I get overwhelmed in the invasion mode.
Even "upgraded" graphics (which are still 20 years old) can't fully save this confusing game. The biggest issue coming from turn-based 4x games to a RTS game like this is that things happen fast, which gives you very little time to think, compounded by certain things never fully explained. Only after looking at YouTube videos did I find out that you can control the speed and pause the game; THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN...
