"In my dreams, I can get out. In my dreams, I can fit in." 'ghostpia' mixes the adorable art style of an illustrated book with glitches-and-noise effects. There are no choices to be made. There's only a lonely girl in a ghost town and her story full of mystery, friendhood...and a bit of violence.

The value story
May 2025 is where it bottomed out, at $11.99. 23 discounts in the 3 years on record. They run about 25 percent off, roughly 7 weeks apart. Today's $13.99 at 30 percent off still sits 17 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
At full price it scores 68. The current cut is what makes it a 75.
On value it sits in the top 3 percent of its genre. It is pricier than 86 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 94 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Buddy Simulator 1984 ($9.99, scores 79) beats it on value, while it beats The Casting of Frank Stone™ ($29.99, scores 6).
Of the 363 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 1 comes from a buyer who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written September 2023 to August 2026.
It carries Valve's Deck Verified rating and runs 10.2 hours, about as long as a handheld game wants to be.

What players say
A slice-of-life story that might be a dream, its tone is eclectic but still coherent, complemented by phenomenal sound design and glitchy VHS aesthetics. Randomly violent, hilarious, and immensely fun.
I had a dream once. I drove a T-34 into the middle of a soccer field in South Korea and said, "I'm here to surrender the North Korean army." Someone in the background shouted back, "We decline your surrender!." "Ok, then," I said and my tank transformed into a sports car. Suddenly I was racing through the streets of Berlin, then Rome, as priests in red robes stood on the roofs of overhanging buildings. When I pulled...
Genuinely enjoyed this and don't regret buying it one bit. I seriously haven't seen such well-put together characters in a game in a while, and the dynamics between the cast just wove everything together. It was an adventure I don't think I can go without seeing more of in the future. The game is confusing at times, but it's really interesting because the player is just as confused(if not more) as the main character...
