The value story
Across all 5 discounts in the 3 years tracked, the median cut is 20 percent, about 52 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 20 weeks ago.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 1 percent on value. It is cheaper than 61 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 98 percent. Among the games that feel like it, I hate this game ($1.99, scores 90) beats it on value, while it beats Zup! 5 ($1.99, scores 85).
$11.18 is where it would stop being a BANGER.

Are you a masochist? Then buy Magicube! -END REVIEW- More seriously: if your favorite puzzle games include games like Baba is You, Maxwell's Puzzling Demon, or Bean and Nothingness, then you will love Magicube. I think the hardest puzzles in Magicube are ultimately easier than the hardest puzzles in any of those games, but it starts all guns blazing, making you wonder how hard the game is going to get if this is...

Great puzzles. Not sure if order is based on difficulty (I had problems on 4 and 5 and then stormed through 6,7,8), but you can skip and pick so it's not an issue. The fact that I played over an hour for the first 8 puzzles is great. I love the simplicity of the levels. Not many moving parts, but often it seems impossible. Reminds me of Fish Fillets 2 in that regard. It's a bargain even at full price. The only issue...
I recently reached the "first ending" of Magicube, achieved by solving 40 puzzles. My god, what an amazing puzzle game this is. The level design in this game rivals that of Snakebird and Stephen's Sausage Roll, both certified puzzling classics. My favorite levels so far are those with the smallest ones. They seem so utterly simple yet their solutions are so well hidden that it astonishes me. Level 14 is a standout...
