The value story
It has never been cheaper than $14.99. That was June 2026. 25 discounts in the 3 years on record. They run about 30 percent off, roughly 6 weeks apart. Today's $17.99 at 40 percent off still sits 20 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
Take the discount away and it is a 70. With it, 78.
Value puts it in the top 1 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 97 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 95 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Bloody Hell (free, scores 91) beats it on value, while it beats Foregone ($19.99, scores 53).
Steam's global achievement data puts about 2 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 24.1-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. 6 of the 697 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written November 2023 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 83 percent of the 264 reviews written there were positive, against 89 percent overall, and those are 7 percent of everything written about it.
The main story runs 24.1 hours. Doing everything runs 58, 2.4 times as long.
The drop-off

What players say
Good game, very responsive combat, extremely customizable playstyle (perhaps too customizable because there are 257 unique "charms" you can find and choose to equip), a stupidly large map to discover (like around 40 areas), and a serviceable story that spends too little time with the characters they introduce. Compared to Rabi-Ribi, TEVI is much, much, much more linear, and also more action-oriented with easier...
Here for the bunni girl but got a great story, a kat and kusogakis. It is pretty funny to see the english tl is more tame than the jp voice.
Gonna write this review specifically for people who have played Astlibra and have been looking for another game remotely similar. For me Tevi was it, as a sort of spiritual successor. Combat itself felt incredibly even if Tevi becomes more bullet-ish in the second half, there is even in the beginning this mechanic where you unlock more skills by using your weapon (but sadly it will only last a few hours because...
