Let me start off with this: Relentless was my first video game ever as a child. My dad bought it for me at CompUSA when I was 6 years old. I was immediately hooked. I beat the original game a few times and even picked it back up as an adult. When I heard of a remake of the original, I immediately wishlisted and waited for release. This game does so much right. This remake of the classic original is quite a surprise for a game. While the story is a little updated but stays true to the original, the gameplay is brilliantly updated - the magic ball is more fun to use, islands are not much bigger landscapes to explore with no tedium of loading in each location, and the graphical presentation is an absolute blast. BRING ON THE SEQUEL'S REMAKE!!!
