On value it sits in the top 5 percent of its genre. It is pricier than 80 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 96 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Buddy Simulator 1984 ($9.99, scores 79) beats it on value, while it beats Amanda the Adventurer 2 ($4.99, scores 63).
Of the 558 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 18 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written January 2024 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 68 percent of the 257 reviews written there were positive, against 91 percent overall, and those are 9 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
Truly amazing. The proper analog horror. The everyday, normal things, mixed with some slight weird, or outright unsettling things in the best possible way. Everything is fine. You might just need to say goodbye to your loved ones and forget. We will send you instructions.
A fun and cozy "customer support" game. You receive calls and diagnose what the issue is, from rodents, to frozen pipes, and hey maybe something crazy like a gnome being a bit of a jerk. The art and voice acting are great, the info on all the "answers" is enjoyable, then mid 90's aesthetic is nailed, and I enjoy how you're able to give the computer classic windows colors. It's a short game for the price but it's...
Being unemployed and being promoted to Junior Supervisor are both scary at the same time. True horror game
