I got it on sale because I felt really burned and ripped off by 2K23, so I waited this one out. Maybe my opinion is a bit more relaxed or forgiving because I paid less. This game is not worth the full price. The lag in navigating the menus is incredibly frustrating and it's hard to understand how it has not been fixed by now. I really like this game but heard the servers will close within the next couple years.
Im very torn on this game. Graphically it looks very nice. If you can crank it up, it just looks great. Little details like a divot flying into the air when you are making your approach shot, just, chefs kiss. Evo swing is absolute garbage. never should have been invented and should never ever be used again. Its just a terrible swing system. Upgrading clubs, forget about it. You simply can not upgrade your clubs...
