The value story
March 2026 is where it bottomed out, at $7.49. 22 discounts in the 2 years on record. They run about 60 percent off, roughly 5 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended 6 days ago. Past sales have already crossed the $18.19 BANGER line 20 times.
Value puts it in the top 3 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 94 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 97 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Tactical Breach Wizards ($19.99, scores 83) beats it on value, while it beats The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos ($34.99, scores 70).
The press gave it 81; the people who bought it give it 93 percent. A 12-point gap in the buyer's favour.
Steam's global achievement data puts about 7 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 20.3-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. 6 of the 443 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written August 2024 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 69 percent of the 107 reviews written there were positive, against 93 percent overall, and those are 5 percent of everything written about it.
It carries Valve's Deck Verified rating, which is the one that means it just works.
