What players say
TLDR: Amazing - but buy it on GoG if you want it to run stable. Homeworld and Homeworld 2 are masterpieces. Unparalleled games from Relic at their peak. Shame about HW3. That was truly dreadful. This collection is all you need. And Cataclysim (or 'emergence' as it's now known for some reason). I recommend these games highly (plus the remastered collection also contains the classic HW and HW2 if you really want to go...

Very fun base game and some of the greatest mods I've ever played on a game, but the mods are great cause of the mechanics and the game they mod. So if you want my 2 cents, play the base game first, then try some mods. But all up to you.
