The value story

The lowest price on record is $12.49, set in April 2026. It has been discounted 16 times in the 2 years tracked here, typically at 33 percent off, with about 6 weeks between sales. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 3 weeks ago.

Value puts it in the top 8 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 91 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 95 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Citizen Sleeper ($19.99, scores 67) beats it on value, while it beats cyberpunkdreams (free, scores 48).

Steam's global achievement data puts about 3 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 9.8-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. This site sampled 496 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 3 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written February 2025 to August 2026.

What players say

If you liked Citizen Sleeper you'll like this one too. Different main character, different story, but similar vibes and mechanics. While familiar, there were several new mechanics that I felt did a good job adding tension to the game in appropriate places. The story was sweet and thoughtful and I mostly wish I got more time with the characters. I played as the Operator and didn't have problems with a death spiral...

It's a cool idea for a game, and honestly there's a lot more mechanical depth than the other negative reviews give it credit for. I didn't fail any contracts until I got genuinely bored by the story and started just clicking buttons, and the game makes it very easy to win even on the higher difficulties, and that's really the central problem. It just all feels so on rails, and I mean I get it, it's a visual novel...
