「なあ、今度は学校の七不思議の特集をやろうぜ」1995年6月。新聞部は、夏休み前の学校新聞で、「学校の七不思議」を特集することになった。7人の学生を集めて、彼らから怖い話を聞き、それを特集としてまとめるのだ。新聞部三年生の日野から命を受け、新入部員の坂上修一はその集会の聞き役を担当することになった。当日、放課後の新聞部部室に集められた7人の語り部と聞き役の坂上修一は初めて顔を合わせる。しかし、7人集められたはずの語り部は、何故か6人しかいなかった。7人目が姿を見せぬまま始まる七不思議の集会。7人目は現れるのか。そして、この集会の終わりに待っているのは……。
